He added that the band was planning to go back on tour, and they were healthy and "recovering at different rates".

The Mingus Big Band is a hot band at any time, and on this night, it added extra star power, featuring Ku-umba Frank Lacy on trombone and vocals, Randy Brecker on trumpet, Vincent Herring on sax, Dave Kikoski on piano and Jeff "Tain" Watts on drums.
"We will make sure that the caretaker government contains people of stature, people of a neutral band, and those that can perform government functions well, " he added.
The band of snow will be followed by some showers which may fall as snow on higher ground, he added.
