"The market was treating retail real estate investment trusts exactly like retailers, which is not quite right, " says Adamo.

Some advisers, like Jack Adamo of Jack Adamo's Insiders Plus, have been inspired by the rally to become less bearish.
"Profit opportunities will continue to be based on smart stock and sector picking, rather than broad moves in the indices, " says Adamo.
Adamo, who looks for higher inflation and lower growth in the months ahead (stagflation), says there are still opportunities to make money.
Furthermore, Adamo says that sustained high prices for crude will make land-based exploration economically viable again, increasing the prospects for Dawson's growth.
"The market has worried that massive bankruptcies of retailers would slam REITs, particularly Glimcher, which has pretty high levels of debt, " says Adamo.
Adamo is especially enthusiastic about Dawson for its position as the largest provider of onshore seismic data acquisition services in the United States.
"I've followed this company for a long time, and the CEO owns a lot of stock, so I don't think he's blowing smoke, " says Adamo.
Unfortunately, the aggressive move into the consumer space with high-end PCs (Alienware, Adamo), TVs, MP3 players (that eventually never shipped), smartphones, tablets and even mini-stores, pretty much failed.
Overall Jack Adamo is quite bullish on Magellan Mistream Partners.

Among the reasons that Adamo likes Plains is its 12.6% insider ownership, indicating that insiders have enough of a stake to make sure that unit holders are treated well.
"While nearly the whole retail sector got walloped following JCPenney's earnings warning, Glimcher Realty Trust firmed by 3.8%, " notes Adamo about the performance of this retail real estate investment trust during the week ended March 28.
"I suspect the underwriters will be selling their small additional over-allotment shares into the market for the next few weeks, which might keep the stock down for a while, but that's good for us, " says Adamo.
Unlike the Dell Adamo and the Sony VAIO X, which both seemed to try too hard to look like Apple's MacBook Air, the Series 9's deep black case and sharp angled edges give it a seriously distinct look.
