The main objective is to deploy Young African Volunteers aged from 18 to 30 years old with various academic and professional backgrounds on different projects and programs in Africa.
Earthwatch ( www.earthwatch.org) takes paying volunteers along on a wide variety of academic research expeditions, many of which include projects studying endangered species.
This approach is interesting in its own right and at the same time synergetic with several other projects we are funding through the Intel Labs Academic Research Office.
So my co-founders and I aimed to build a company that was artist and academic friendly -that would educate, empower and support people looking to get funding and build awareness for their projects.
