The first permanent museum dedicated to Swedish pop group Abba is to open its doors in Stockholm later.

The award, founded in 1989 by the late Stig Anderson, manager of Swedish pop group ABBA, has been handed out every year since 1992 and is typically shared by a pop artist and a classical musician.

Visitors will also be able to sing Abba songs alongside life-size holograms of the group.
Abba have not performed together in public since 1986, and last appeared as a group in 2008 to attend the Swedish premiere of the Mamma Mia!
