To mark the end of the old transmission technology and the dawn of the fully digital TV era, BBC One Northern Ireland and UTV are jointly broadcasting aliveTVprogramme on Tuesday night.
This is followed by two special build-up programmes on Friday evening including alive one-hour programme on BBC Radio Ulster from 6.30pm followed by aliveTV build-up on BBC One Northern Ireland at 10.35pm.
