耶和华对撒但说：‘凡他所有的，都在你手中。’
耶和华问撒但说、你从那里来．撒但回答说、我从地上走来走去、往返而来。
The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from? " Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.
耶和华向撒但说，撒但哪，耶和华责备你，就是拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华责备你。这不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗。
And the LORD said unto Satan, the LORD rebuke thee, o Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
撒但回答耶和华说，人以皮代皮，情愿舍去一切所有的，保全性命。
And Satan answered the LORD, and said, skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

If only Satan would just tempt us once and when we said the first NO, he would run away and give up.
