2001年毕业于新疆大学化学与化工学院，获有机化学硕士学位，并于同年考入南开大学化学学院元素有机化学研究所攻读农药学专业博士学位，师从李正名院士。2004年7月博士毕业留校任教。在李正名院士的领导下参加了美国DOW公司的合作研发项目，国家“863”、“973”计划项目，以及中澳国际合作项目，国家自然科学（重点）基金等课题的研究工作。目前承担教育部博士点基金及天津市自然科学基金各一项。从事具有生物活性物质的分子设计、合成与构效关系的研究工作，并协助李正名院士指导研究生毕业论文以及课题组的部分管理工作。承担本科生《有机化学》、《有机化学实验》课程教学任务。已发表论文40余篇。
