黄锡矿是一种锡的硫化物，是提炼锡的原料，在锡矿中常见到它。黄锡矿的晶体呈四方形对称，钢灰色带点儿绿色，具有金属光泽。产出的矿石一般为粒状块。中国 广西、湖南等地的锡矿床、多金属矿床中也常有。玻利维亚的波托西为世界著名产地。
除锡石和黄锡矿外，方铅矿也含有较高的锡。
