麻竹，别名：葫芦麻竹、美浓麻竹，（学名：Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro），竿高20~25米，直径15~30厘米，梢端长下垂或弧形弯曲；节间长45~60厘米， 幼时被白粉，但无毛，仅在节内具一圈棕色绒毛环；壁厚1~3厘米；竿分枝习性高，每节分多枝，主枝常单一。是中国南方栽培最广的竹种，笋味甜美，每年均有大量笋干和罐头上市，甚至远销日本和欧美等国。竿亦供建筑和篾用，庭园栽植，观赏价值也高。 图片均取之中国植物图库
