“鸟头”是2004年由季炜煜和宋涛在上海共同成立、目前十分活跃的摄影艺术家组合。2004年两位成员多互相拍摄对方人像，2005年则以在惯常城市风景的双人合影和对方工作场景为主。此后的《新村》系列开始转向拍摄其他上海市民的生活状态，并一直坚持记录至今。
