鲎试剂是从栖生于海洋的节肢动物“鲎”的兰色血液中提取变形细胞溶解物，经低温冷冻干燥而成的生物试剂，专用于细菌内毒素检测。鲎试剂因能与细菌内毒素及β-葡聚糖反应形成凝胶而被广泛用于检测食品、水源、药品、医疗器械、动物体液等不同样品中的内毒素。使用鲎试剂检测的试验称为鲎试验。
