高锰酸，化学式是HMnO₄，是由氢离子与高锰酸根结合而成的酸，属于离子。高锰酸在广义上，还包括有高锰酸根组成的盐。高锰酸是强氧化剂，与大多数有机物接触即可将其剧烈氧化。因其不稳定，故不直接使用而常用其盐。常用于测定合金、矿石、盐类或硅酸盐中铁的含量等。
