高程系 Elevation System 由高程基准面起算的地面点的高度称为高程。一般地，一个国家只采用一个平均海水面作为统一的高程基准面，由此高程基准面建立的高程系统称为国家高程系，否则称为地方高程系。 1985年前，我国采用“1956年黄海高程系”（以1950～1956年青岛验潮站测定的平均海水面作为高程基准面）； 1985年开始启用“1985国家高程基准”（以1952～1979年青岛验潮站测定的平均海水面作为高程基准面）。
