现代贯流式水轮发电机组具有机器体积小、重量轻、效率高、在相同开挖深度条件下汽蚀性能好、检修、维护方便等优点,但由于采用的是汽蚀系数大,转轮叶片强度低的轴流式转轮,因此只适用于轴流式水轮机的水头范围(即30米以下)。本发明采用强烈扭曲的固定导叶和汽蚀系数小的真正的混流原理的转轮或带有中间环,无下环的转轮。在引水管的结构上采用梅花型。因此本型水轮发电机可以应用于600米以下水头范围内,同时具有上述贯流式水轮发电机组的所有特点。
