乒乓球运动发球的一种，由我国吉林省运动员刘玉成于1964年发明的,后成为风靡世界乒坛的一项发球技术。发球者先将球抛至高度为2—3米空中，待下落到一定程度时击球。挥拍时上臂外展的幅度较大，要借助转腰和蹬地的力量。由于抛球高度大幅度提高，使球体下落时的速度骤增，具有球速快、旋转强、时间差明显等特点。有侧身正手左侧上（下）旋球、侧身正手上旋长球、反手右侧上（下）旋球等之分。
