高强磨是一种应用广泛的粉体设备，是在雷蒙磨粉机的基础上，通过对工作室中的磨辊加压，分析机改造， 高强磨气压调节等改进，可对硬度在9.3级以下，湿度不大于6%的非易燃易爆物品的制粉加工，细度30-1250木任意调节，部分物料可达2500目。高强磨粉机比球磨机效率高、电耗低、占地面积小、一次性投资少。
试验结果表明：涂层刀片干铣削高强度钢的加工性能优异，工件加工表面质量达到半精磨水平。
