又称预压加固法。在建筑物的软土地基上,预先堆放足够的堆石或堆土等重物,对地基预压使土壤固结、密实以加固地基的工程措施。是软基处理的一种。达到预压标准后,撤去重物,开挖地基,再修筑建筑物或闸坝,以减小建筑物沉陷,提高地基承载力及建筑物的稳定性。预压堆土高度应使其荷重大于建筑物的荷重方为可靠,但不能超过地基的承载力。堆土要分层、间歇地进行,待地基固结、沉陷、稳定后再堆下一层,一般施工约需半年时间。在高含水量的黏土中,为缩短预压施工时间,可在地基中设置砂井排水,以加速黏土固结过程。
