雏鸭是指0~5周龄的小鸭。幼雏体温较成年鸭体温高3℃。雏鸭绒毛稀短、皮薄、皮下脂肪少、保温能力差, 体温调节能力要在2周龄后才逐渐趋于完善。雏鸭的生长速度快, 尤其是骨骼生长很快, 饲养雏鸭时一定要供应营养丰富而且全面的饲料。这个阶段如果饲养管理不当极易患病, 直接影响成鸭的品质和养殖效益。
