股市用语。股价上涨到达某一价位附近，如有大量的卖出情形，使股价停止上扬，甚至回跌的价位。股价在上升途中到达某一价位时，由于此价位上方多为套牢盘，当股价一到达该价位，就不断有卖盘出现，致使股价无法上涨，此价位线就叫阻力线。如果股价一旦突破阻力线，则该阻力线法反而会转变成为股价的支撑线，阻力线则是图形上每一波浪顶部最高点间的直切线。意即价位在此线附近具有相当高的卖出意愿。
