锰系铁合金。由铁锰矿在高炉中冶炼制得。其含锰量为15—30%， 含碳量为4.0—5.0%。主要用于转炉和平炉炼钢，代替锰铁用，是一种脱硫脱 氧剂。因其断面具有镜面样光辉，故称镜铁。
