过渡轨道transfer orbit，航天器从初始轨道或停泊轨道转移到预定目标轨道的中间轨道，又称转移轨道。航天器在火箭发动机的推力作用下实现轨道变换，简称变轨。行星探测器、月球探测器、离地球较远的人造地球卫星，都要经过过渡轨道才能到达预定目标轨道。
