转账支票是由单位签发的，通知银行从其账户上支取款项的凭证。转账支票只能用于转账，不能提取现金。它适用于各单位之间的商品交易、劳务供应和其他经济往来的款项结算。转账支票由付款单位签发后交收款单位，不准委托收款单位代签;不准签发空头支票和远期支票；不准出租出借支票。各单位使用转账支票必须遵守银行的有关规定。
支票中专门用于转账的，可以另行制作转账支票，转账支票只能用于转账，不得支取现金。
