起模是指中成药制做过程的工艺方法。传统的起模方法，是先将泛丸郭或叠簸打扫干净，于叠簸内一边(约1/4处)用小扫帚或水刷蘸水涂布均匀，使之湿润。将最细粉筛布于上，待水分湿润药粉后，再用干燥的竹签逐次将湿润的药粉刷下，即成湿润的小粒。再撒少许极细粉末于其上，旋转叠簸或泛丸锅而成圆形小粒，如此反复上述操作直至成丸。
