贪瞋痴，是佛教语言，贪欲、瞋恚与愚痴三种烦恼。此三者毒害人最剧，故称三毒。南朝 齐 萧子良 《净住子·发愿庄严门》：“原众恶所起，皆缘意地贪瞋痴也。”
所以我们听法不要夹杂着贪瞋痴慢疑等烦恼，心要非常清净的来听闻，这是过去圣贤者一在告诫的。

当我们知道并看见所有一百个念头，每次一有个念头都跟得上，那就等于，贪瞋痴一生起我们就能知道与看见。
