贝珠是一种替代珍珠的饰品。贝珠分为两种，一种是贝壳粉挤压滚制而成；一种是用天然的海水贝壳打磨抛光而成。贝珠的外面可根据需要镀成多种色彩，颜色有银白、金黄、孔雀绿、孔雀蓝、乌黑等。高档的贝宝珠需经过多项高级工艺才能制作而成，这样的贝珠色泽精纯，不退色，不变色，易保养，散发出耀眼的光泽。
