《说文》：即《说文解字》。是古代汉族文字学著作。东汉许慎撰。中国第一部系统地分析汉字字形和考究字源的字书。成于安帝建光元年(121年)。原书十四篇，叙目一篇，正文以小篆为主，收9353字，又古文、籀文等异体同文1163字，解释十三万余字。此书在流传中叠经窜乱，今本与原书颇有出入。本书首创部首编排法，为后世字书所沿用。本书对古文字、古文献和古史的研究贡献极大。在清代研究《说文》成为专门学问，给它作注的就有数十家 。
