议论，就是讲道理，论是非。作者通过事实材料和逻辑推理来阐明自己的观点，表明什么赞成什么或者反对什么，肯定什么或者否定什么。所谓“议论”，就是分析评论。议论句是运用确凿的事实，无可辩驳的道理，逻辑严密的语言进行论证，从而揭示客观本质的句子。
依据规定，单个句不能组段，而过渡段则是个例外；过渡段暗示了说明与议论部分之间的关系。
