褶皱山(folded mountain)是地壳运动形成的褶皱岩层所组成的山体。是地表岩层受水平方向的构造作用力而形成岩层弯曲的褶皱构造山地。褶皱又称褶曲,根据褶皱的形式,褶皱山分为单背斜形成的褶皱山(中国重庆附近的歌乐山)、多褶皱山(如法、瑞交界的侏罗山)、褶皱推覆体山(如阿尔卑斯山)等。
