袭步袭步（running gollop）马术运动步法之一。指马匹按跑步的运步顺序，以 伸长步法和最高速度进行的一种跑步。在马匹各种步 法运动中这种步法最快。“袭步”是速度赛马中用到的步伐，即赛马时四节拍的快跑。袭步一般采用前骑坐的方式去骑，我们常看的香港速度赛马就是这种步伐和骑坐。俗称“猫短蹬”。
