袋鼠岛，又叫坎加鲁岛（英语：Kangaroo Island）是澳大利亚继塔斯马尼亚和梅尔维尔岛之后的第三大岛屿，面积4405平方公里。袋鼠岛位于圣文森特海湾（Gulf St. Vincent）的入口，在南澳大利亚州的首府阿德莱德西南方向112公里处，处巴斯海峡。岛上距离大陆的位置离南澳大利亚州富劳里友半岛（Fleurieu Peninsula）的杰维斯角（Cape Jervis）只有13公里。该岛居民超过4000名，主要产业为农业、旅游业和渔业。每年接待游客超过14万人，是南澳最著名的旅游区之一。岛上四分之一的面积被定为国家公园和保护区，除了袋鼠还有多种保育动物在其中栖息。
