surface aeration 一种机械曝气方式。 在废水处理中，一般将叶轮安装于曝气池池液表面，利用叶轮的转动实现提水和输水，使曝气池内形成环流，更新气、液接触面和不断吸氧；形成水跃，使液体剧烈搅动而裹进空气；形成低压区，吸入空气以充氧。 表面曝气具有构造简单、运行管理方便，充氧效率高等优点。常用于小型的曝气池。
