血槽是刀的一部分，位于刀身，与刀背平行的一个或多个凹槽。一般人的理解刀上的血槽是为了放血而留的。实际有两种说法： 一种是刀刺入身体后拔刀时会由于血液的黏度和张力在刀的接触面产生负压，使刀不易拔出来，开了血槽可以让外部空气进入减少负压的产生便于拔刀。 另一种说法是在不影响刀身强度的情况下减轻刀身的重量。因为当刀具开了血槽后，刀身成工字形，加强了结构，同时也减轻了重量。
此鞘为白铜，刀柄残缺，刀刃双血槽，有两种挂式。
