芽孢杆菌属(Bacillus)中的一种。菌体细胞杆状，末端方，成短或长链，1.0～1.2×3.0～5.0微米。产芽孢，芽孢圆形或柱形，中生或近中生，1.0～1.5微米， 孢囊无明显膨大。革兰氏阳性，无荚膜，运动。菌落大，表面粗糙，扁平，不规则。
