藏党参，又名长花党参Codonopsis thalictrifolia Wall. var. mollis (Chipp.) L. T. Shen，本变种为唐松草党参的变种。 与原变种区别为本变种植株较强壮；叶片较大，长6毫米以上；花冠较长，长3-4.8厘米。但是两变种之间呈一连续变异。 产我国西藏南部及中部。锡金及尼泊尔等也有分布。生于海拔3600-4600米的山地草坡及灌丛中。
皂苷的含量分别为3.02%，2.48%，表明藏党参中多糖和皂苷的含量都明显高于潞党参——多糖含量是潞党参的1.33倍，皂苷含量是潞党参的1.22倍。
The results showed that the contents of polysaccharide and saponins in Codonpsis thalictrifolia Wall. were 1.33 and 1.22 times higher than those in Codonopsis pilosula (Franch. ) Nnannf. respectively.
以轮叶党参为主要原料，对轮叶党参冷冻调理食品的加工工艺、产品配方及冻藏稳定性进行了研究。
