“蒙汉调”，俗称“漫瀚调”。明、清以来，由于汉族群众的逐步迁入，鄂尔多斯大部分地区形成了蒙汉杂居区。汉族群众在学习蒙古民歌时，往往把一部分旋律吸收后变作内蒙古西部地区“二人台”音乐的牌子曲。如《森吉德玛》、《巴音杭盖》、《敏金杭盖》、《大青马》、《四公主》等。还有一部分鄂尔多斯民歌，汉族群众在演唱和流传中，一方面保持原有的一系列特点，同时，也慢慢地融入汉族的“山曲儿”、“二人台”音乐的调式因素。这样，渐渐地就形成了兼有两个民族民歌的的某些特征的民歌品种，当地群众称之为“漫瀚调”。
