荒漠动物 指分布于荒漠地带的动物群。荒漠环境严酷，动物往往靠夜晚的露水补给水分，故其生活大多局限于黑夜；许多荒漠动物特别是小啮齿类，白天在自然或挖掘的洞穴内生活，晚间出来活动。善于跳跃和奔跑的动物种类虽不少，但因生态系统脆弱而生物繁殖量很低，故数量很少；在最干旱的移动沙丘地区，也有地下昆虫和啮齿类动物生活，有的不饮水也可成活，它们从食物中通过分子转换获得水分。
此外，对鸟类、昆虫和土壤动物及荒漠动物的生存产生了积极的影响。
