成虫的胸足之一，又称股节，常是足各节中最发达、最粗大的一节，其基部与转节紧密相连，端部与胫节以前后关节相接。该节的发达程度与胫节活动所需肌肉有关。例如，直翅目中的跳跃足，胫节用来弹跳，所以腿节非常强大，而且有棱脊，以适应强大肌肉的着生和牵拉。捕食性昆虫足的股节表面，特别是内侧常具有齿与刺。膜翅目细腰亚目的部分种类股节基部形成一个多少明显的拟转节 (trochantellus)，该构造又称第二转节。
