发生在第12肋至髂嵴之间的腹后外侧壁，后腹膜脂肪和（或）腹腔内组织脏器经过此处上腰三角或下腰三角的薄弱缺损，突出到体表所形成的腹外疝称为腰疝，也有称背疝。男性占65%，女性占35%，以老年人发病较多。腰疝的发病原因有多种，诊断并不困难。诊断明确后，成人腰疝以手术治疗为主。
