胎方位（fetal position）：是胎儿先露部指示点与母体骨盆的关系，简称胎位。胎位，从胎儿身体的长轴与母体长轴关系来看，有两种产式：两长轴相平行的，是直产式；两长轴相垂直的，称为横产式。
胎头浮或半固定矫正胎方位成功率高，相比差异有显著性（P<0.05）。

结论在骨盆正常情况下，新生儿过大、胎方位异常及产力异常是造成第二产程异常的主要原因。
