肿瘤免疫（tumor immunology）是研究肿瘤抗原、机体免疫功能与肿瘤发生发展和转归的相互关系；机体对肿瘤免疫应答和肿瘤细胞逃逸免疫效应的机制；及肿瘤的免疫诊断和免疫防治的科学。 肿瘤是机体正常细胞恶变的产物，其特点是不断增殖并在体内转移。因此肿瘤细胞在免疫学上的突出特点是出现某些在同类正常细胞中看不到的新的抗原标志。现已陆续发现的肿瘤抗原包括肿瘤特异性抗原和肿瘤相关抗原。前者为肿瘤细胞所独有；后者大多指胚胎性抗原，为胚胎组织与肿瘤组织所共有。
