肺顺应性是指单位压力改变时所引起的肺容积的改变，它代表了胸腔压力改变对肺容积的影响，肺顺应性又可分为静态肺顺应性（Cst）和动态肺顺应性（Cdyn）。肺顺应性，是指肺在外力作用下发生改变的难易程度。肺的顺应性大，表示其变形能力强，即在较小的外力作用下引起较大的变形。对空腔器官说，顺应性大，则表示其可扩张性大，在较小的跨壁压作用下，就能引起较大的腔内容积改变。肺顺应性包括静态顺应性和动态顺应性。静态顺应性反应肺组织的弹性，动态顺应性受肺组织弹性和气道阻力的双重影响。
