耐火混凝土是由骨料、胶结剂、外加剂三部分按一定比例制成混合料直接浇注而成的特种混凝土。根据胶结剂的不同，耐火混凝土可分为铝酸盐耐火混凝土、水玻璃耐火混凝土、磷酸盐耐火混凝土和硫酸铝耐火混凝土等。耐火但工艺简单，不用复杂的混凝土虽然耐火度和荷重软化开始温度比耐火砖稍低，烧成工艺，可塑性好，便于制成形状复杂的整体制品，成本低，寿命和耐火砖相近，所以使用越来越广泛。用于加热炉、均热炉等的炉衬、炉门、炉墙以及电炉出钢槽等。
