是指脑血栓形成或脑血栓的基础上导致脑梗塞、脑动脉堵塞而引起的偏瘫和意识障碍。脑血栓形成多在50岁以后起病，男性较多，常于休息、静止或睡眠时发生症状，发病情况较脑出血缓慢。常有先兆症状，如头晕、一侧肢体麻木或无力等，在血压低时更易发生。
