细毛羊，体质结实，结构匀称。公羊体重82kg左右，母羊体重46kg左右。公羊有螺旋形角，颈部有1～2个完全或不完全的皱褶；母羊无角或有小角，颈部有裙形皱褶。头大小适中，背腰平直，胸宽深，体躯长。被毛闭合良好，头毛着生至两眼连线或稍下，前肢至腕关节，后肢至飞节。
