长城的关口之一。位于中国河北省易县城西40千米的紫荆岭上。为河北平原进入太行山的要道之一。有“一夫当关，万夫莫前”之险。东汉时名为五阮关，又称蒲阴陉，列为太行八陉之第七陉 。紫荆关由五座小城组成：拒马河北岸的小金城、南岸的关城、小盘石城、奇峰口城、官座岭城。
最后蒙古兵转攻紫荆关，然后绕经涿、易二州由关里向外，两面夹击，才攻陷了居庸关。
