系统树 genealogical tree，phylogenetictree，dendrogram 认为生物各种族的系统关系有如树状，可用图来表示其状态，此称为系统树。由海克尔（E．H．Haeckel）所提倡的。他制成了动物界和植物界全部的系统树，给予生物学者以很大的推动。也有的认为生物的系统关系不一定是树状的，把系统的图解（diagram）称作系统树也是不恰当的。但是，时至今日仍继续作出各种系统树，并且已相当的普及，所以还不能说对树状的系统持否定意见的已得到支配的地位。
