Methods: Cumulus cells were obtained from 23 patients undergoing intracytoplasmic sperm injections (ICSI) and undergoing oocyte collection. After egg collection, individual eggs were treated with hyaluronidase to remove the surrounding cumulus cells from the oocyte and prepare them for ICSI.
