碑学，是研究考订碑刻源流、时代、体制、拓本真伪和文字内容等的学问，也指崇尚碑刻的书法流派，与“帖学”相对。碑学有“专指北碑”“北碑加篆隶”“北碑加上唐碑”等三种基本含义。碑学始于宋代，兴盛于清代中叶以后。
