硼肥，是具有硼标明量以提供植物养分为其主要功效的物料，常规硼肥是指以硼砂、硼酸、硼镁肥等为主的硼化工制品作为农业用的微量元素肥料。硼是植物必需的营养元素之一，以硼酸分子（H3BO3）的形态被植物吸收利用，在植物体内不易移动。硼能促进根系生长，对光合作用的产物——碳水化合物的合成与转运有重要作用，对受精过程的正常进行有特殊作用。中国缺硼土壤在南方和北方都有，所以合理施用硼肥对发展中国农业有重要意义。
