矿物加工是将开采出来的含有有用矿物的矿石，通过施加外力，使其中所含的具有一定形状和规格的有用矿物颗粒解离出来，然后通过物理、化学及物理化学的方法将有用矿物相对富集，并与脉石矿物分离的过程。主要任务：1、提高有用矿物含量，将有用矿物和脉石矿物分离； 2、外种金属分离；3、除掉有害元素。
